Black York to 508 Sanden AC Adapter Mounting Bracket Description This is a new Chrome 12 Volt Air Conditioning Compressor with V-belt pulley and a new Black A/C Compressor Adapter Mounting Bracket. Compressor has a chrome finish and is set up for use with 134A coolant and is identical to Sanden #508 compressors which is a great upgrade from early York and Tecumseh compressors. If you are converting an old or non-operational York or Tecumseh compressor equipped air conditioning system to a modern Sanden style air compressor; this bracket will simplify the process. York and Tecumseh air conditioning compressors have been used in many original equipment applications since 1958 up to 1984 on both American built and imported makes. These compressors were also popular as the basis for an add-on air conditioning systems used from 1958 to the early 1990's; including these vehicles... 1958-82 AMC​​ 1973-80 IHC light trucks 1958-84 Mercury 1958-84 Ford ​Multiple aftermarket applications The York and Tecumseh compressors were used from the factory and in many dealer installed air conditioning systems and have the same basic design so it is easy to exchange them to this Sanden type compressor. The included bracket will adapt this aftermarket Sanden style A/C compressors used in Vintage Air or other systems to your existing York bracket. This heavy duty bracket bolts to your old York compressor bracket and allows you to easily mount the Sanden style A/C compressor in just the right place and is adjustable for proper belt alignment.
